Parasyte the Maxim Episode 3: The Feast

While Murano and Shinichi are going to the school, Murano sense that Shinichi had changed recently. Migi warn Shinichi that he sense a parasite near them. As they’re approaching the location, it turns out that the parasite is inside their school campus.

The students assemble in the gym for some announcements. Migi sense that the parasite is 30 meters from their location. He also advises Shinichi not to make any eye contact to anyone so that the parasite won’t detect them from the crowd.

The parasite is their new Math teacher and assistant homeroom teacher of Murano’s class, Tamiya Ryoko (Tamiya- surname, Ryoko- first name). Tamiya had sense Shinichi and Migi from the crowd because he unfortunately made an eye contact to her. Although she’s a parasite, Migi sense something different about her because despite taking over the head of her human host, she manages to retain the host’s job. He senses no hostility towards her like she desires to blend into the human society.

Tamiya manage to arrange a meeting with Shinichi in the guidance office. She has no intention of killing both of them but she is curious. This is the first time that she had encountered something like Migi’s situation. She told Shinichi to meet her after class to exchange information.

Tamiya arrive in the café with a male companion named A-san. Tamiya shared that she had sex with A-san and she’s pregnant -(O.O)-. If two parasites will engage in that act, the baby will still be a human being since they’re attached to a human host. Parasites eat other humans in order to keep their human host alive but it’s different in Shinichi’s case. Migi receive nutrients directly from Shinichi’s blood thus, he didn’t feel the urge to eat humans. Parasites can change their faces if they had taken over the head of their human host. This is a disadvantage on Shinichi’s part since he can’t change what he looks like.

During Tamiya’s class, Migi sense that the school is under attack by someone, a parasite. The attacker is A-san who entered into the school campus and cause chaos. Tamiya leave her class and flee somewhere while the students are told to evacuate the building immediately. 

A-san is targeting Shinichi. To avoid hurting other people, Shinichi went to an empty hallway and pile some tables to use it as a shield.

Parasyte The Maxim Episode 2: Demon in the Flesh

Shinichi had decided not to go to the police station about the incident. Shinichi ask the parasite of what to name him since he was just calling the parasite “you” from the start. The parasite said to call him “Migi” meaning “right” because he matured in his right hand.

Shinichi apologize to Murano about the touching incident the other day and Murano forgive him. After the gym class, one of Shinichi’s classmates named Kazuki Nagai confronted him that he likes Murano and ask whether Shinichi was trying to date her. When Shinichi denies everything and was about to walk out, Nagai beat him up. Shinichi have no intention to fight back but Migi morph and punch Nagai.

Violent crimes had spread not only in Tokyo but also in parts of Japan and other countries. They call the serial murders “The Mincemeat Murders”. He ask Migi if these are the work of the parasites and Migi confirmed it based on the dog that they encountered saying that the parasites specialize in cannibalism.

Upon hearing that answer, he eventually despises Migi and the parasites. Migi threats Shinichi that if he will do something to harm him, he can easily cut off his tongue to be mute or make him blind. They decided to work together to survive.

While he is hanging out in the downtown area, Migi sense another parasite near them. Instead of running away, he decided to face the parasite. They meet the parasite at an empty lot. 

The parasite said that this is his first encounter that the parasite is inside the human host but the brain is still intact.  The parasite offered Migi to relocate to his human body. If both of them will inhibit and utilize the same host, they will get stronger and can live long up to 140 years. The parasite cut off his right arm for Migi saying that an arm to arm relocation is possible. If he will kill Shinichi then Migi will have no choice but to relocate to his human host. When the parasite tried to harm Shinichi, Migi protected him and killed the parasite. He did that because he was not yet convince if relocation to another human body is really possible.. 

A/N: I would recommend this anime to those who like Gore genre. Though its not that too Gore compare to other anime.

Parasyte The Maxim Episode 1: Metamorphosis

Shinichi heard some voices. When he woke up, he brushes it off like it was just a creepy dream.

On his way to school, he experiences some weird and unfortunate incidents. When Satomi Murano sneaks behind him and about hit his head, he catches Satomi’s hand without even looking at it. (Satomi Murano is his childhood friend, schoolmate and possible love interest). They are both talking when his right hand gropes her breast and he himself can’t explain why he did that (hahaha how embarrassing).  He got scolded by his teacher because he was playing games during class which he didn’t know how the heck he turned on his phone while he’s half asleep.

He suddenly remembers what happened to him last night. He was sleeping when there’s a worm like creature trying to get inside his nose but he sneezed it. He woke up to kill the “snake” (he referred to call it snake at first since he have no idea what it was) but the snake burrowed inside his right hand. To prevent it from crawling to his head, he ties his arm with the earphone cables/wire. His parents woke up because of the commotion and they think he was just having a bad dream. 

He’s not feeling well. He decided to call it a day and went home. On his way, he saw a girl about to get hit by a car. He save the girl but is horrified to see what happened to the car. An eye appeared and his fingers turned to blades that wreck the car’s hood. 

His hand turns back to normal. He tries to stab his right hand to test it and it morphs into a talking-alien-looking creature. He search in the net for answer for his condition but couldn’t find any.

He wakes up the next day seeing his right hand had morph again and is reading books. He starts interrogating the parasite of what is he and where did he come from but the parasite can’t remember anything. The only thing that the parasite remembers is the objective is to take over his brain.

Shinichi decided to report his condition to the police. On their way to the police station, the parasite sense one of his kind nearby. Out of their curiosity, Shinichi headed to the direction where another parasite is located.

They encounter a parasite that burrowed into the dog’s body (which eats fellow dogs. Poor dog :( ) . Sensing danger, the parasite instructed Shinichi to run and hide. 

The dog morph into a winged creature and follow them. 

Shinichi’s right hand morph with blades and pierce the heart of the enemy. They watch how the parasite died.

Meanwhile, violent crimes starts happening around Tokyo.

Parasyte The Maxim Overview

Parasyte the maxim is an anime series adaptation by Madhouse which aired in Japan on October 2014 to March 2015.

The story is centered on the 17 year-old high school student Shinichi Izumi. He lived a simple life with his father and mother around Tokyo until one night, a parasite burrowed into his hand. Gradually his life began to change and violent crimes starts happening in Tokyo.

Unboxing SHINee- Everybody Album

Hi everyone I bought this album I saw at the mall's department store. I started liking SHINee 2 years ago when I heard their song Ring Ding Dong on Dance Dance Revolution machine (weird, huh?). I was hoping to get their latest album but sadly I only found this one. And its so outdated this album was released 2-3 yrs ago. This is their 5th mini album.

In the photo book the lyrics is also included. Its in Korean so I can't understand it well, except for the English phrases XD.

The album also includes a photo card and a bookmark though I'm not sure if it is a bookmark. I got Key's photo card. Don't get me wrong I like Key but I was hoping to get Onew. (Yeah, Onew, my ultimate bias hehe)

Overall, I like the album its worth buying. Among the tracks I like Symptoms and Destination. I also like Everybody but I would recommend that you watch first the music video to appreciate the song. The album cover is hard bound though I'm a bit disappointed with some of the blank spaces in the photo book.
